We've crossed paths with Night Owl a few times in the past year and have never been disappointed, notably adter his closing set at our Lock Tavern party in October. Effortlessly packing dancefloors and pulling out tune after tune from an Alladin's cave of record bag, this will be an absolute treat.
Local Brixton boy Visionist's exciting production abilities have won him a legion of fans, among them Oneman and Loefah, and have resulted in appearances on the Boiler Room. Exhibiting cuts from new label project 92 Points, we are excited to welcome him to Get Low for the first time.
Get Low regular Buds finds a new guise, playing classic soul and funk cuts. A breath of fresh air and the best way to kick of proceedings. Get down early for this.
The long awaited new Beats In Abundance mix has dropped, and it's a corker. A carefully considered construction, this isn't just the newest tracks out slapped together. Instead, it's a journey through the Purple side of sounds, drenched in enough synths that you'll be on the slizzurp in no time.
I'm gonna lay you down with some hard truth. Beats In Abundance are one of the top DJ outfits in London. Heck, probably in the UK. Their vast musical knowledge and irreverent flavour means they throw some of the wildest feel-good parties known to man. They're don't aim for glory, they do it purely for the love of music. Word of mouth does the rest.
They go way back with us, when they reigned supreme on the student clubnight scene in Norwich when Get Low was just starting out. Luke Baines (pictured) and his brother Jesse, armed with just a pair of turntables and a cdj (pre-Serato days) would throw wild nights - a smorgasbord of killer jams, mixing ultra-obscure beats with party anthems and curveballs. And do it in fancy dress. One time they brought their Mum to their clubnight. Why? Because they're badasses.
When I was living in San Francisco for my study year abroad, Luke was working out there and every week we would DJ together for 6 hours straight at a psychodelic bar called Noc Noc on Haight Street. It was dope.

The go to guys for dancehall, reggae and all things FYAH, The Heatwave have steadily risen to become a beloved fixture on the UK club and festival circuit. From 60's riddims to modern British ragga and dance, these guys know their shit. Check the amazing "England Stories" LP's released on Soul Jazz and compiled by the Heatwave themselves to get an idea of their textured and vividly iconic musical palette. You can also catch The Heatwave on RINSE FM every Sunday 1-3am.
Possibly the most celebrated Dubstep producer of 2010, Quest can do no wrong at present. Alongside Silkie and the rest of West London crew Antisocial, tracks like Summer Anthem "Smooth Skin" have exhibited his unique production style, floating between jazz, house and broken beat to create a modern Dubstep sound that has been championed by Skream, Mala, Benji B and Giles Peterson amongst others.
Old school cohorts of Get Low, superb party starting outfit BIA will be hosting room 2, providing a fabulous fanfare of disco, pop and the fruitier forms of electronic music. If you haven't heard of BIA then shame on you, come and be educated in music - if you're not converted, you have no soul.
★ D-RAIL ★
A Vagabondz favourite, D-Rail never ceases to surprise. With an ability to read crowds backed up by a fiendish record collection, D-Rail hits the nail on the head with spot on precision that gets a room moving.
A musical gee that shys away from the limelight, LP is one not to be missed. Being very particular about the crowds he performs to and using a lot of his own material, make sure you catch this rare performance from an underground favourite.
Honourary member of the Get Low Cartel, Madboy Zimba cannot be categorised. Breaking the mould for traditional turntablism this tropical troublemaker tears up the dancefloor wherever he goes; with regular bookings all over London this is someone you are bound to see alot more of.
As always, Towelie, Lightning and Dash representing in full force bringing you non-stop party vibes, naughty basslines and dirty beats that are simply impossible to resist. If you aint movin', you can't hear.

Arguably the most exciting and innovative British artist on the scene right now, we are proud to host Toddla T as our badaman 2nd Birthday Headliner. After years of making distinctive dancehall garage ragga in his native Sheffield, over the last couple of years Toddla T has become a superstar, destroying festivals and superclubs across the world with his trademark blend of Garage, Dubstep, Baile funk, Dancehall and anything else to make the girls wiggle. After releasing his debut album "Skanky Skanky" to raptourous critical acclaim and mixing a superb edition of the Fabric Live series, Toddla became part of the "In New DJ's We Trust" show at Radio 1, giving him a weekly platform to broadcast his bonkers and brilliant music to an eager public. He's worked with Herve on his progressive "Machines Don't Care" project and the legends of the scene are queuing up to bestow praise. He even had Benjamin Zephaniah feauture on "Rebel". This guy goes different.

Head honcho's of the innovative and highly entertaining blog and now record label "Butterz", Elijah and Skilliam are the hottest dj's in Grime. Displaying their awesome mixing and track selection on their weekly Rinse FM radio show, they're regarded as the "Saviours of Grime" and bring a welcome sense of humour to their operation. In a scene that can take itself far too seriously, Elijah and Skilliam strive to make their radio show, articles and label output accessible and interesting. Make sure you're in to catch them djing Grime, Grime and a bit more Grime on top.
One half of the London dons The Brothers Grime and extended member of the Get Low Cartel, Zimba is a mash-up specialist. Old school Norwich big dogs, back in the day BIA was the biggest student night when Get Low was just a young wee nipper. Long-time cohorts of the Get Low Cartel, in San Francisco Luke Baines and Dash would tag-team 5 hour sets at their residency on Haight Street. Beats In Abundance are back for a highly exclusive N-town performance. Low Pass is the 'other' biggest bass heavy night in East Anglia. Having booked names like Dexplicit, Caspa, Benga, Coki & Kromestar; they've been repping hard in the East of England. Not just Dubstep heads though, they're equally holding down the sounds of (future) Garage, Tropical, Funky and Electro. Good vibrations abound.
