We've watched Mista Men develop, and I really do think that this EP marks a flashpoint.  Every track on this EP is a beaut.  Intoxicating, exciting, deep, upfront, accessible, underground.

Stomach clenchingly good.  Recommended.

This track has been getting wild reactions in my DJ sets recently.  A mish-mash of styles, it hops from killer riff to killer riff like it's 5 remixes bunched into one track.  Absolutely brilliant, truly a track you want to let play from beginning to end.  Big up yous B.Traits!




Anyhow, Toddla T & DJ Q taken this cue and brought a remix that flits from garage to dub to hard bassline. Another banger.

Watch out for impressive remixes from Eats Everything & D Bridge too.  Gotta bag 'em all!

To celebrate the release of The 2 Bears debut album 'Be Strong', they've released this remix for free.

It's cool, man.  80s sparse French House vibes with a cool British Man Like Me vocals over it.  I'm not actually an expert on sparse 80s French House, and have no idea if sparse 80s French House ever actually existed, but if it did, it probably sounds like this song.  Which is a good thing.  I suppose.

You can actually stream the whole album.  This is very cool and more publishers need to do this.  Why?  How am I supposed to judge a song worthy of download from a 15 second sound clip?  One of the main reasons I don't buy from iTunes (that, and the fact they don't tell you the bitrate of the files you're buying - but I digress.  Here's the Amazon link!).



So yeah, The 2 Bears are basically going to be huge and you'll hear them everywhere.  But you heard it here first, kids!

Our Friend is a promising 20 year old producer from Bristol.  He's still getting to grips with his sound but an upcoming track called "Fryday Nite" is fire, so watch out for it.  Very promising though, he's got an ear for what sounds "good" - a talent one thinks you're either born with or you're not - keep it up!
